Penon Serial – Serious player!

If you're looking for a reference IEM packing a well extended powerful and fast bass, an articulate midrange and an engaging treble both with accurate tone then at the asking price it's hard to find a better proposition than the Serial. Serial addresses the demanding audiophiles on a budget and it's quite refreshing in a bullish market in the upper tiers. On top of this Serial will scale superbly with more power and an affordable desktop amp is a great option to enjoy all it can offer.

FiiO EM5 – Hi Five!

If you're looking for earbuds that delivers flawless performance across the board with a smooth and relaxed immersive signature, then look no further! Just make sure to pair it with a reference source with good power to get the best out of it.

Dunu Zen – Immersive !

If you're looking for an immersive IEM with holographic soundstage, deep powerful bass with excellent punch and control, a forward and articulate yet velvety midrange with rich textures and last but not least engaging treble with excellent extension then look no further, Zen will offer countless hours of musical bliss!

FiiO FD5 – 5th dimension

If you're looking for an IEM that boasts one of the best soundstage at any price, features powerful, clean and quick bass with excellent control as well as a clear, open an articulate midrange and a well extended and engaging natural sounding treble then the FD5 is a no brainer! If you own a good copper cable I strongly suggest you plug it to the FD5 as it will be a more relaxed yet engaging listen and if you don't it's worth spending the extra money unless you enjoy a more energetic and brighter midrange. I would stick to the larger nozzle as the narrower brings most of the benefits a copper cable brings with the downside of making the soundstage smaller and penalizing the upper treble presence and the engaging lower treble.

TFZ n°3 – 19th

If you're looking for a budget IEM that packs excellent and punchy bass, smooth mids and energetic treble with good sparkle and shimmer the TFZ No3 19th is quite the engaging listen and impressive performer at the price granted you feed it appropriate power which out of DAPs will mean reaching for a balanced cable.

TFZ My Love III

If you're looking for a relaxing yet fun IEM with very good bass slam, full bodied mids with good upper mids bite then the TFZ My Love III deserves your consideration. If you have a decently powerful source like the DX160 or Lotoo PAW S1, running the My Love III balanced shows that its graphene driver will scale up nicely to take it several notches up.

Dunu Luna – to the moon and beyond!

If you're looking for an IEM with class leading dynamics, spot on accurate timbre, fantastic speed and beautiful textures then look no further, the Luna will take you to the moon and beyond! Dynamics alone sets the Luna apart and it sounds different from anything you've heard. It's in a different league altogether and the reference yet organic tuning translate into a unique listening experience with a fantastic sense of realism.

Astrotec Lyra – A Nice Buddy For Your Ears

I can only praise Astrotec for the Lyra Collection build quality which is just top notch, this includes a surprisingly well built 4 wire cable with no microphonics, smart over ears fit, and a really audiophile tuning with strong technical foundations while remaining smooth. Astrotec clearly stayed off the usual warm, bassy with boosted lower mids on top tuning of most earbuds.

JVC FW10000 – The King Is Dead, Long Live The King!

If you’re looking for a unique IEM that follow suit to the Japanese dynamic flagship reference in the long standing EX1000, sharing its fantastic resolution and superb soundstage while getting rid of the peaks and featuring great craftsmanship I really do think a new legend is born and the category as a new king in the JVC FW10000 : the king is dead, long live the king!
